A while back I started using AVG Security based on some recommendations from you guys. I also bought it for my mom's computer and I have been happy it with it thus far.
I am looking to install it on our office computers. However, I was shopping on-line for the AVG Security and I noticed that they have a network protection package that is like double the price of just the usual computer protection you would buy. We are a small company and only have 15 computers, but that adds up quick.
What I cannot understand is why, if my software I bought protects my computer, then why could I not just install the same thing on each computer at work. (This would include a computer that is connected directly to the server).
If you guys know the difference I would appreciate some input. I really need to do this tomorrow so I need help making a decision because AVG did not respond to my email.
Thanks for any input.

Sorry I didnt catch this sooner. My suggestion would be just install the client security on all pc's on the network. For 15 node's there is no need for a network security suite. Network security is proactive, which means its constantly scanning the network for intrusions and leaks. Reactive just lays idle until something happens then reacts. For a small network i would say reactive is ok. We use reactive here at work for 3000 employees.
