HELP!!!
Nov 15, 2007 11:28:04 GMT -5
Post by xxfishxx on Nov 15, 2007 11:28:04 GMT -5
My work just reformatted my computer.
I go on line to make forms for shipping. Before, I would go online, select the form, populate fields with information then hit the create button. It would make the form and then I hit print.
But now when I hit the create button, a pop up window comes up and asks me if I want to save the file. In the pop up it sas file security warning. I am sure it is some sort of setting.
If anyone can help ASAP I will dance at yer wedding..
Thanks.

I would venture to say you used to have Adobe Acrobat (Reader) installed and now since you don't have it installed (after reformatting your hard drive) it doesn't know how to open the file, so it's asking you if you want to save it instead. You could try downloading the Reader (it's free) and see if it works. Without knowing the exact program your using it's kind of hard to trouble shoot.

The fields would auto generate becuase they were stored in your cookies. (temporary internet files). Now that you have a new HDD the cookies are gone.. Try to print screen the error and paste it on the forums. Is it one of those gold looking bars that appear across the top of the page or is it a warning box?

Ok, my problems did not stop there.
I now realize that I cannot play video or sound.
I am assuming this is because I have somehow lost drivers.
How do I know what drivers I need and where to get them?
Thanks!!!!

This is a good crazy question. My motherboard came with a cd that installed all the drivers for me. The only thing I could think of trying (that would be easy) would be to go to download all the patches, updates, fixes and often times the drivers from Microsoft. What is EBT?
