Alright man first of all lets turn off standby.. go to start- control panel and select power management. on the first page you will find the 4 options to standby.. drop the options down and select never on all of them. then select the hibernation tab at the top of the page and make shure the only box on that tab in UNCHECKED... hibernation takes a descent amount of storage and virtual memory to hibernate.. Then that brings me back to memory or heat. i think maybe you're muffin fan inside the box is defective. Does it just shut off or freeze? if it freezes than its software. if it just shuts down you're power supply is bad.. How long has it been since you have restarted without the pc freezing? the virtual memory could be doin what is called a memdump.. its when the virtual memory is at full capacity and it caused everything to loose its crudentials.. if its the memory then you can power down the pc and pull the memory and reseat it. its the long skinny modules that have a white or black tab at each end.. try these and let me know.. these are the basic first steps in this freezing process..

Man i had some computer work to do!! i was gone all weekend i made $25 and hour for like 2 days so i didnt pass it up... I will be on this week though so be on!!!!! sorry i missed the wknd i was bummed... newayz on the pc.. hibernation can cause freezing... its been known to do that.. i turn hibernation off on all the pc's i use in the IT dep. Also what are the specs on you're pc. like dell. hp. then are you running vista or xp pro service pack2? i think it could be software. I could help you reload the box if you wish? also what you need to do is if you have two sticks of memory try pulling one and see if the problem persists. if it does put that one back and pull the other and so on. then you can pull both and relay the error message it gives during startup... try those for now and let me know?
later sexy!!!

Well the only scary thing is, is that the pc was freezing even when you were doing work.. So you can thank me later if the problem goes away. Sounds to me like you are overworking the machine. you may need to run defrag and disk cleanup to clear up some of that space. if the problem persists then I will step you through that process as well. If there were a way for you to send me you're hard drive i would reformat it and reload it. but if that dont work try this.... go to www. logmein.com in the top section of the box the username is larryhill234@yahoo.com and the temp password is Password07 and that is case sensative. then you select add computer in the middle of the screen. select log me in free.. and click continue. follow the directions for adding the pc. when prompted for a code to use for access use 12345678. be shure if the box does not pop up then select click here and download. click RUN when prompted. then when installed it will ask typical or custom. if you have no proxy then just select typical. use the already given description when asked. If it does not ask for a # then it will just install. then you need to click control panel and select user accounts and password protect you're account. then i can remote into you're pc via you're promission through a prompt. I can do everything for you then. But dont worry i cant just remote in all the time you hafe to accept the connection everytime.. if you need help with this call me you know my #..
Later big dawg...

oh and what i meant by asking for a number was this. sometimes during the install i will make you assign that pc with a login #. that is where you put the 12345678. if this is never asked then just install. Then you will hafe to password protect you're account in the control panel. Otherwise i cant remote in.. if you do not want to do this than oh well we will try something else...
